She was Sandra Bullock's character in Murder by Numbers. Agnes Bruckner - born 16 August 1985 - is an American model and actor. Her first appearance on TV was in the late 1990s, and has appeared in numerous films like The Woods and Blue Car Murder by Numbers Blood and Chocolate. Bruckner began her acting career at age of 11. Her appearances were on a couple of shows on television, including the drama for daytime, The Bold and the Beautiful, in 1999. Bruckner was only 15 years old when she got her first role in a major film as a teenage girl on screen in Blue Car (2002). In the film, Bruckner performed the role of a young high-school student having an illicit affair with David Strathairn. Film writer Roger Ebert wrote that Bruckner negotiates this difficult film with total conviction. Her role in the film was selected in the Independent Spirit Awards as "Best Female Lead". She was born and raised within a three-generation family brothers and two sisters. Hungarian was her primary language and she practiced it regularly to keep her proficiency. Bruckner is a Californian in Hollywood born daughter of an Hungarian dad and Russian mother. Her paternal grandparents were German. They met in Hungary. The couple immigrated to into the U.S. through an Italian refugee camp. There are two sisters and an older brother.
